Shopify only calculates a live delivery status and estimated delivery date for labels bought through Shopify Shipping. If you ship with DHL and buy labels elsewhere, your orders stay stuck at "Fulfilled". Delivery Status for DHL closes that gap. Because the status is native, everything downstream just works: Shopify's built-in shipping notifications, Shopify Flow automations, your order status page, customer accounts, and any external tool or marketing app that reads the order.
