For merchants shipping DDP (duties/paid), one of the critical issues is to collect accurate duties/taxes from their buyers. They also need to push the correct HScodes into the carrier so the carrier can clear export and import customs accurately. For those shipping DDU (duties unpaid) they would like to show assessed duties/taxes to let their buyers know the amount they would likely have to pay their carriers. Yakit does this via its AI/ML modules and thus simplifies the experience.
